A really cool project right now and was just finished off a bunch of tables for a new restaurant, so restaurant. I was I that extra ordered these wanna custom tables, but they are also I'm also going against China on this. So, in order to get a table, that's priced reasonably there's no way. You'll ever be China, Chinese labor prices and manufacturing. It's just it's just not gonna happen, but what we could do is we could try to get our labor down and build a table wisely.
So my customer insisted that it be 100 % stainless steel. That's awesome! Now Chinese tables never come 100 % stainless they're. Always stay galvanized sub frames, I mean there's all kinds of corners a cut, but I have two by two by two by two by eighth-inch stainless steel angle iron. Under underneath this fully welded up, we got the legs welded in, but what I tried doing that was uh. The clever idea was to use the stainless steel angle iron as the end, so we just welded it up buffed it down, and this is a random orbital finish.
Apparently, that's what's quite popular right now in a lot of kitchens, so it's pre scuffed, just industrial look yeah. That was this. I wasn't very easy to weld very minimum warping. Actually, I should rephrase that zero warping. This didn't bow, I mean normally, you would see a clown as an, thinner material, but yeah everything stayed rock-solid the pans itself.
We actually slipped between the legs this way. Now, if I wanted to do fancy notches that again, that's more labor, more time and higher price. So again, this is a budget table that is 100 %. Well then, in all stainless, the final little table, which was one of our simple build, was same angle, iron leg out and fit these in between now, once I had spit in between, I began. That was just a really easy, but up joint, no 45s, no miters yeah, just very simple well Julian, which is leg mouse nest perfectly in this corner. These would just MIG welded on and say.
Let's make I have found a dozen absolutely beautiful, zero melt through and yeah. It's actually less melt through than I than to take. So that's what we did on most of their stuff now other spots, where we had a accessibility in a lot more room. We did put, we did to use our stud gun, shot those on and got it bolted up, but other than that yeah, a budget table that's 100 % stainless and all welded up guys.
