We're going to polish a pine kitchen table as a period kitchen table. We have to say in our shadow room and we've got many inquiries about how you wax polish a large surface area such as a table top like this. So we're going to use Gilroy's rose gold because I think it would just add a little bit of color to the tabletop. You could use antique or pure, but for this, we've gone for the rose gold, as I say so, just for the slight warmth to it. The mahogany color I'm going to apply it. We suburb our fine wire wall.
Now, this is what we use in the workshop. You can buy it online, it's available, buy online passes the polishes as well as the policies should I say now, this firewall people do get afraid when you start talking about wire war, but this is really soft. It's like cotton wool, it's so fine and well it's great for its applying the wax nice and evenly and also it picks up the dirt and residue or anything on the table. So it cleans it away. It's not much pressure needed, so I'm just going to make that into little pad and apply some wax to the table.
Another way to do it is just going to charge this bit of wire wall is to dab the wax evenly little blobs of wax over the table. I'll just do that, rather than just starting in one corner little blobs of Wax, I'm just going to move there I'll come back to that in a second actually must be by the railway. I just can remember playing lots of blacks we're looking at the tree there. We go there, we go I'm dry little blobs of wax all over the table surface just charging the wire on the cloth my little wax.
What I'm going to do is just spread that wax out over the tabletop using the wild wall with a little gentle pressure just to evening it out, and it picks up those blobs of waxes blobs of wax and distributes the polish over the tabletop nice and Evenly running with the grains I'm not trying to arc while I'm or anything, it's a bit like French polishing, really it's the easiest way there. You are distributed the nice and neat bit of the table. I'll just do the edges. At the same time, there you go.
There's the wax on the table now. What I forgot to do a second ago was show you what these were now. These are our pew, beeswax, coloring cubes, so there's a pure gold, a rose gold and an antique gold which reflect our polishes antique rose, pure gold polished for the table. Here, we've used Rome's gold, polish and I would actually use the rose gold wax to repair. Now, these were little holes, little dings and dents I'll just find one. It's one here actually on the table now. It's quite soft in this temperature is quite warm in here today.
